Sightseeing in the city of Bydgoszcz

On the first day of conference all participants are welcome to join Sightseeing in the city of Bydgoszcz with a tour guide.

Social events

A Symposium Gala-dinner will be held at the restaurant on the Bydgoszcz old town. During the symposium banquet you will be offered an exquisite dinner buffet and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The symposium banquet is included in the symposium fee.

13:30 - 14:00 Vistula River's outlet artificial canal – poster session 3: sediment transport dynamic of Vistula and outlet cone morphology

14:00 - 15:30 Sightseeing in the “Mewia Łacha” Nature Reserve (touristic route - 3 km)

16:00 - 18:00 Gdańsk old town, dinner and accomodation in hotel

18:00 - 20:00 Sightseeing in the Gdańsk old city centre and canals

9:30 - 11:30 Nowy Świat village – poster session 1: the Vistula Spit Navigation Canal

12:30 Coffee break at "Stanisław Żeromski's house", one of the greatest Polish writers

13:30 Orłowo Cliff in Gdynia at Baltic Sea (touristic route - 3 km)

14:30 - 15:00 Lunch

15:00 - 17:00 Sightseeing in the Gdańsk old city centre and canals (return to Bydgoszcz at 19.00)

There is a possibility of early return to Bydgoszcz and Warsaw by train or from the airport in Gdańsk.
